A second change now for the visitors as the outstanding Hofmann is replaced by Fabian Johnson.

GOOOAAAALLLLLLLL!!!! Astonishing scenes here in Florence as Christensen heads in Monchengladbach’s fourth goal!! The visitors work a corner short before Hofmann crosses into a dangerous area where the centre-back climbs highest to head home from five yards out.
Hofmann is once again the creator for the goal, but he got in behind the Fiorentina defence far too easily from Paulo Sousa’s point of view there.
57'
Well what an extraordinary turnaround we’ve had here and Monchengladbach are looking the far more dangerous of the two sides now too.
55'
L. Stindl has scored a goal for Borussia M'gladbach! Assist by J. Hofmann.
It was a routine straight from the training ground between Hofmann and Stindl there which was executed perfectly by both players.
GOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLL!!!! STINDL COMPLETES HIS HAT-TRICK!!!!! Hofmann plays a low free-kick straight along the top of the penalty box towards Stindl who drills a low first-time effort into the bottom corner from 18 yards out! Monchengladbach are going through as it stands!
52'
Both sides have made a blistering start to this second half here and you feel there may well be more goals to come. Paulo Sousa certainly doesn’t look the relaxed figure he did in the first half on the touchline.
50'
Wonderful save from Sommer!! The ball somehow finds its way through to Kalinic who just has Sommer to beat from 12 yards out, but the striker tries to take the ball round the Monchengladbach keeper who sticks out a crucial hand and diverts the ball away from danger.

GOOOAALLLLL!!! Stindl sends Ciprian Tatarusanu the wrong way from the spot to give his side a glimmer of hope.
43'
PENALTY TO MONCHENGLADBACH!
42'
M. Olivera gets yellow.
There seems to be an awful lot of confusion over what the penalty was awarded for as there didn’t appear to be any obvious foul in the previous passage of play, but Olivera has been booked nonetheless.
40'
Vestergaard makes a good tackle on Valero inside the Fiorentina half and Dahoud looks to pick out Drmic with a low first-time ball, but once again the pass goes astray and Fiorentina regain possession with ease.
38'
A wonderful flowing counter-attack from Fiorentina very nearly results in an opportunity for Chiesa in the middle of the penalty area, but the cross towards him doesn’t have enough pace on it and Monchengladbach are able to clear the danger. It's all Fiorentina at the moment.
36'
Drmic with his first real involvement since replacing Hazard now as he collects the ball inside the Fiorentina penalty box and turns well, but his touch just takes him away from goal and he can only blast the ball high over the bar from a tight angle.
34'
Furious appeals for a penalty from the Fiorentina players as Milan Badelj goes on a surging run into the penalty box. Replays show the ball did appear to touch Vestergaard’s arm but it certainly did not look intentional.
32'
Valero swings in the free-kick but the delivery is a poor one and Monchengladbach are easily able to clear the ball. Hermann fails to make the most of a good counter-attacking opportunity though as he gives away possession cheaply, which just about sums up his side’s performance since conceding that first goal.
30'
Bernardeschi is brought down by Hermann just outside the Monchengladbach penalty area and appears to have done himself some damage as he landed. Fiorentina will have a free-kick in a dangerous area when he gets back to his feet though.

23'
M. Vecino gets yellow.
Matias Vecino becomes the first player to go into the book following a poor challenge on Hazard after the ball had gone.
Wonderful double save from Sommer!! The Monchengladbach keeps the score at 1-0 with an outstanding double save, first denying Chiesa from six yards out before smothering Bernardeschi’s effort of the rebound.
22'
The ball breaks kindly for Bernardeschi just inside the Monchengladbach half but Christensen closes him down well to prevent the Fiorentina attack developing.
20'
The home crowd has certainly found its voice since the goal too, with Fiorentina now just knocking the ball around at the back with ease having established a two goal aggregate lead.
18'
That goal appears to have taken all of the intensity out of Monchengladbach’s game, and understandably too as they may well be wondering how they’re behind having dominated the majority of this game so far.
15'
N. Kalinić has scored a goal for Fiorentina! Assist by F. Bernardeschi.
Bernardeschi has hardly touched the ball so far in this game, but he showed his quality there to set up Kalinic’s goal.
GOOOOAAALLLLLL!!! Fiorentina take the lead against the run of play!! Federico Bernardeschi picks the ball up deep inside his own half before driving towards the edge of the Monchengladbach penalty area and playing a neat through ball into the path of Nikola Kalinic, who slots calmly past Sommer into the far corner from 12 yards out.
13'
Carlos Sanchez’s cross is headed clear by Christensen but only as far as Chiesa on the edge of the box, but the 19-year-old rushes his first-time shot and blasts it high and wide over Yann Sommer’s goal.
11'
After a frantic opening 10 minutes Fiorentina finally enjoy a decent spell of possession, and they seem happy to knock it around the back four just for the moment.
9'
Monchengladbach are all over their hosts here as Hazard hits a free-kick straight into the wall from 25 yards out. Dieter Hecking will certainly be pleased with the way his side have started.
7'
OFF THE POST!! Wendt is causing all sorts of problems for Fiorentina here, this time whipping a wonderful cross in towards Jannik Vestergaard in the centre, but the centre-half can only divert his header onto the upright under pressure from Davide Astori.
5'
Nearly a disaster at the back for Monchengladbach now as Andreas Christensen makes a horrible mess of clearing Federico Chiesa’s cross at the near post and the ball rolls narrowly wide of the post.
4'
Close! Thorgan Hazard plays a lovely through ball for Oscar Wendt to run on to, but the left-back decides not to go for goal from a tight angle and instead pulls the ball back into a dangerous area, but there are no teammates in support and the Fiorentina defence area able to scramble the ball clear.
1'
Kick-off! Monchengladbach get the game underway.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Europa League last 32 second leg tie between Fiorentina and Borussia Monchengladbach at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Fiorentina take a slender 1-0 lead into the game from the first leg last week, with Federico Bernardeschi’s first-half free-kick enough to hand the Italian side the win at Borussia Park.
Paulo Sousa’s side have though been beaten since the first leg victory, going down 2-1 to AC Milan at the San Siro on Sunday, but will be confident of progressing into the last sixteen here having lost just once in their last 16 home games.
Monchengladbach will also be optimistic about their chances of going through, having lost just twice since manager Dieter Hecking’s arrival in December.
Those defeats though have come in their two most recent games, with the first leg result followed up by a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to high-flying RB Leipzig, leaving them just seven points above the relegation play-off place.
Fiorentina make three changes from the side that was beaten by Milan, with Matias Vecino and Milan Badelj coming into the side along with the goal scorer from the first leg Bernardeschi. Sebastian Cristoforo, Carlos Salcedo and Josip Ilicic are the men who drop out.
Monchengladbach make just the two changes to their side following the defeat to RB Leipzig, as Patrick Hermann and Jonas Hofmann come in on the right and left wing respectively, in place of Andre Hahn and Fabian Johnson.
The first leg was the first ever meeting between the two sides, but Fiorentina have faced German opposition on 11 occasions, winning three of them, while Monchengladbach have won four of their 15 clashes against Italian sides.
The players are making their way out onto the pitch, kick-off is not far away now!
It’s certainly advantage Fiorentina at the break here after goals from Kalinic and Valero had given them a 3-0 aggregate lead. Monchengladbach gave themselves hope though right on the stroke of half-time as Stindl converted from the spot after referee Artur Dias awarded a controversial penalty.
Dieter Hecking will be hoping his side can begin the second half in the same manner in which they started the first having completely dominated the first 15 minutes of the match, and another goal early in the second half would certainly set up an interesting finish.
It’s all over here in Florence and Borussia Monchengladbach have booked their place in the Europa League last 16 with a remarkable comeback win over Fiorentina, inspired by their captain Lars Stindl’s hat-trick.
That's all from us here at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, thanks for joining us and we hope you can join us again soon.
