Fatigue and frustration set in for Montoya, who commits a really needless foul on Neymar to find his name into the book.
90'
Just two minutes to be added on at the end of this match.
89'
André Gomes has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Neymar.
Neymar hasn't got his goal, but he does have an assist to show for his efforts now.
THAT'S THAT THEN! Andre Gomes comes off the bench to score the dagger for Barcelona, tucking a calm first-time finish at the far post, as the hosts' dominance finally pays off with a fourth goal.
88'
Valencia are still in this with a chance, albeit slightly, but all they need is one opportunity to steal the points. Barcelona have been too generous and not nearly clinical enough in attack, which has kept Valencia in this game. The hosts continue to dominate possession, though.
86'
L. Messi gets yellow.
Messi is the sixth player booked on the night, the third for Barcelona.
84'
Z. Bakkali enters the game and replaces João Cancelo.
Valencia's final change sees Zakaria Bakkali replace Joao Cancelo - a final roll of the dice from Voro.
83'
Into the wall! Suarez hasn't had his opportunity from a free-kick yet tonight, with Messi and Neymar each taking one, so he gets his chance here, but is unable to bend his effort around the wall.
82'
Lazy from Garay, who can't cope with the physicality and determination of Suarez, so he simply pulls him to ground atop the box. It's not a yellow, but it's a free-kick in a dangerous area for the hosts to put the game to bed if they can take advantage.
80'
STAT: Lionel Messi has scored his 100th brace for Barcelona in all competitions.
Minute
Description
78'
Dreadful effort! Parejo takes, but slips at the vital moment in the run-up, bouncing a tame effort miles wide of the near post.
77'
André Gomes gets yellow.
Valencia win a free-kick about 25 yards, maybe just over, from goal, in a spot to really try and threaten Ter Stegen's goal. Andre Gomes picks up a yellow card for his foul.
76'
OFF THE WOODWORK! Neymar's been trying hard - almost too hard - for his goal tonight and this won't do anything to alleviate his frustrations. He picks out the top corner from a free-kick, but it rattles off the corner of the frame, where the crossbar meets the post, and deflects behind for a goal-kick.
74'
André Gomes enters the game and replaces Rafinha.
Another change now, this the second for Barcelona, as Andre Gomes replaces Rafinha. One sub left for each side.
73'
S. Zaza enters the game and replaces M. El Haddadi.
Well here is Zaza! The striker enters the fray at the expense of Munir, who receives a warm applause from these fans of his parent club.
71'
Into the final 20 minutes now and you get the feeling that if Valencia are to steal something from this match, they will have to adopt a different approach sooner rather than later. Perhaps it is time for the likes of Zaza to come on - though there's not much movement on the touchline currently.
69'
It's become rather subdued again at Camp Nou, as the tempo fizzles out drastically. Barcelona are still generating the odd scoring chance, but a lot of time is passing between opportunities - and a lot of nothing is happening in that time.
67'
Andrés Iniesta gets yellow.
Iniesta clips the legs of Perez, not the first foul of the night for the midfielder, whose luck has run out here as he's issued a yellow card.
66'
HAD TO BE BETTER! Glorious chance for Barcelona to double their lead as Rafinha is picked out in acres of space, but he really snatches at the shot, rushing the chance instead of taking the space in front of him, which allows Diego Alves to make a simple stop.
65'
Sergi Roberto enters the game and replaces I. Rakitić.
With 25 minutes to play, Barcelona make their first change of the match. Sergi Roberto, the hero against PSG, comes on to a rousing ovation as he replaces Rakitic.
64'
STAT: Barcelona have won their last six league matches at the Camp Nou, scoring 4.1 goals per game.
62'
Barcelona are dominating possession here, but with the lead they don't feel the need to take any real risks as they poke and probe around the fringes of the final third. This resembles more of a training ground exercise.
60'
Valencia have all nine outfield players sitting behind the ball as they bide their time, waiting for an opportunity to hit back on the counter. Striker Simone Zaza is warming up, among a few other substitutes, but you have to wonder if Voro will take a chance in bringing on another attacking option.
58'
ALMOST! Barcelona caught flat footed once again as Munir surges forward on the break after being played through by Soler. The forward is so determined to get through on goal, twisting and turning around Pique, but he changes directions one too many times as he winds up losing his balance.
56'
Valencia have a mountain to climb now. They've showed an ability to score with 10 men late in the first half, but the scene is much different now, with Barcelona organised and prepared to defend any threat that comes their way.
54'
STAT: Lionel Messi has scored more goals against Diego Alves than versus any other goalkeeper in his career at Barcelona (20 - all competitions).
52'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by J. Mascherano.
A PEACH OF A PASS! Magic from Messi to play Neymar through on goal, and the Brazilian just has to score, but somehow he's thwarted by the trailing leg of Diego Alves! What a terrific stop from the Valencia keeper!
Mascherano's simple pass winds up being the assist on the goal.
BARCELONA RETAKE THE LEAD! And it's Messi who provides it! He takes a pass, switches onto his right to get beyond Abdennour and finishes expertly at the near post with his weaker foot!
51'
Valencia break three against two, and Parejo gets himself in a good shooting position, but is unable to test Ter Stegen with his final effort as the keeper makes a simple save. That should provide them with a bit of confidence, though.
50'
Barcelona are forcing Valencia to chase the ball in these early stages of the second half, a smart plan to tire out their opponents, but they've posed little attacking threat since the restart.
48'
Defensively nothing should change for Valencia, who will still have the same amount of bodies behind the ball, but their attacking threat is poised to become marginalised. Without the high man they will struggle to provide respite for the backline.
46'
A. Abdennour enters the game and replaces Fabián Orellana.
A necessary defensive switch from the visitors at the interval as Aymen Abdennour replaces Orellana.
The 10 men of Valencia get the second half underway!
45' +2
HALF-TIME: BARCELONA 2-2 VALENCIA.
45' +1
M. El Haddadi has scored a goal for Valencia! Assist by José Gayà.
Superb assist from Gaya, serving that up brilliantly for Munir.
INCREDIBLE! VALENCIA ARE LEVEL! What an incredible end to this first half! Barcelona switch off after taking the lead and they're carved apart in a hurry! Gaya sprints forward and provides a delicious assist for Munir, who finishes confidently from in close and straight away apologises to the Camp Nou fans! He will be back here next season, of course.
45'
Penalty goal scored by L. Messi for Barcelona!
FROM BEHIND, BARCA LEAD! Diego Alves might be one of the best penalty stoppers in the world, but he's unable to produce heroics on this occasion as Messi smashes his spot-kick straight down the middle to put the hosts in front!
44'
E. Mangala goes off after a red card!
FROM HERO TO ZERO! Mangala doesn't say a word, walking straight off the pitch as he cynically tugs Suarez down in the box, conceding a penalty and picking up his second yellow card in the process! What an incredible turn of events at Camp Nou!
43'
Dani Parejo gets yellow.
Yellow card number three for Valencia as Parejo tugs back on Iniesta to prevent him from going past. Barcelona have really taken this game over since falling behind.
41'
OVER! Plenty of anticipation as Messi stands over the free-kick. He has a hard time seeing the goal from so close, with the wall placed directly in front of him, and in the end he's unable to get it over and down under the bar, as it sails a few inches high.
39'
E. Mangala gets yellow.
Careless from Mangala, who can have no complaints as he sees yellow for a foul on Messi just outside the box. Real danger to come still from the subsequent set piece.
37'
You can feel the momentum swinging here. Valencia have to be careful, after a flawless first 30 minutes, their backs are all on a sudden against the wall and they're in danger of going into the half behind if they're not careful.
35'
L. Suárez has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Neymar.
Neymar's quick thinking from the throw sees him provide the assist.
BARCELONA HAVE PULLED LEVEL! Almost an immediate response from the hosts, and Valencia will be kicking themselves! It's a quick throw from Neymar that sends Suarez through into the area, with Garay caught napping, and the striker produces an inch-perfect finish, rolling the ball just inside the far post!
34'
Well there's still a long way to go, but Valencia really have played the perfect away game thus far. They remain incredibly organised, sharp on the break and consistent in both frustrating and stifling this Barcelona attack.
33'
TERRIFIC BLOCK! It's the skipper Perez who lays his body on the line to thwart Rafinha after the ball fell very kindly to the left-wing back on the edge of the box!
31'
STAT: Valencia have only won one of their last 10 La Liga away games (D3 L6), 2-0 against Villarreal at Estadio de la Ceramica.
29'
E. Mangala has scored a goal for Valencia! Assist by Dani Parejo.
Parejo provides the assist from the corner.
VALENCIA STUN CAMP NOU! Mangala easily eludes his marker Rakitic, a real mismatch in the air, and rises high to get on the end of Parejo's cross and place a header in at the far post! Against the run of play, the visitors draw first blood!
28'
This really is something of a subdued atmosphere at Camp Nou, with the fans only just starting to find their voice as Barcelona put on the pressure. But it really is strange to hear these fans, or not hear them, rather, so muted.
26'
PENALTY APPEALS DENIED! Neymar gets behind Garay and on the end of Messi's throughball, before being tripped up by the centre-half. There was certainly contact, but not a ton of it either, so the referee does really well not to award the penalty, but also not to punish Neymar for simulation.
24'
E. Pérez gets yellow.
Perez tries everything to stop Neymar from advancing but can't cope with the Brazilian's trickery and winds up tripping him up, rather late, from behind, which sees him become the first player booked on the night.
23'
Concentrated possession in the Valencia end here for Barcelona, who have the visitors backed up in defence, but are struggling to find a way to build through the centre. Their best attacks have all come from the wide areas, as Valencia have done well to congest the middle third of the pitch.
21'
STAT: At Riazor, Barcelona lost their first game using a 3-4-3 system in the last five seasons in all competitions (16W D1).
19'
EXQUISITE SAVE! A blocked cross bounces into the path of Soler who doesn't think twice about shooting, hammering a half-volley back towards goal, but Ter Stegen is able to halt his momentum and get down to parry, before Mascherano scrambles clear!
17'
STUNNING! A statement of intent from Messi, almost insulting the Valencia defenders with his incredible trickery on the ball. He skips past three before opening up on the edge of the box for a shot, but bends it just wide of the far corner!
15'
HOW HAS THAT STAYED OUT?! Delightful play from Barcelona down the left flank as they lull Valencia to sleep before carving them open! Umtiti threads a long pass through for Suarez, who cuts inside Gaya at the near post and squares for Messi, but the Argentine's first-time effort from in close is deflected and then blocked by Gaya on the line!
13'
Barcelona have switched to more of a cautious approach in possession - or patient, perhaps. They're largely passing it around on the periphery, though, in front of what can only be described as a lethargic atmosphere at Camp Nou.
11'
STAT: Luis Suarez has scored seven goals in his last five games against Valencia in all competitions, including his first four-goal haul for Barcelona.
9'
SMART GOALKEEPING! Splendid movement off the ball from Luis Suarez, who ghosts behind his marker to get through on goal. He's able to pull it around the challenge of Mangala, but the centre-half does just enough to take the sting out of the move, which allows Diego Alves to make the save before Gaya knocks behind for a corner.
7'
Valencia are fighting back nicely here following Barcelona's early push. Rakitic does well to track back and cut out an attempted pull-back from Orellana, however, as the pressure is relieved temporarily.
5'
HAD TO BE BETTER! Valencia weather the early storm and hit back quickly on the counter. Joao Cancelo makes a terrific run and is played through, but he hesitates to square it for a wide open Orellana, before Mascherano pokes a foot in from behind to knock the ball away.
3'
Lots of Barcelona pressure in the early few minutes here as they adopt plenty of urgency, quick to get the bad taste of last week's defeat out of their mouth. Gaya is forced into making an important clearance after a really well-worked attack from the hosts.
1'
AND WE'RE OFF! Barcelona get us underway and attack immediately, from left to right.
Hello and welcome to live coverage from Camp Nou as Barcelona aim to close the gap on LaLiga leaders Real Madrid when they host Valencia.
An emotionally charged 6-1 victory over PSG in the Champions League had Barcelona on top of the world just over a week ago, but the roof came caving in last Sunday as it was followed up with a 2-1 defeat at Deportivo, dealing a massive blow to their title hopes.
Barcelona now sit five points back of leaders Real Madrid, each with 27 games played. With just 11 matches remaining in the league campaign, Luis Enrique’s side will have to be close to perfect if they are to close the gap and win a third successive title.
Valencia have changed managers six times in the last two seasons. Salvador “Voro” Gonzalez is back in charge for the third time, while the likes of Nuno Espirito Santo, Gary Neville, Pako Ayestaran and Cesare Prandelli have all fallen by the wayside.
To say they are struggling would be an understatement. The silver lining would be that, after battling it out near the bottom of the table for the first half of the season, they have turned things around in 2017, albeit marginally, but enough to pull themselves out of the relegation scrap.
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
BARCELONA (3-4-3): Ter Stegen; Mascherano, Pique, Umtiti; Rafinha, Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta; Messi, Neymar, L. Suarez.
SUBS: D. Suarez, Cillessen, Alcacer, Alba, Digne, Roberto, Gomes.
Luis Enrique makes five changes from last Sunday's 2-1 defeat at the Riazor, though he keeps the 3-4-3 formation intact. Samuel Umtiti comes into defence, while Rafinha and Andres Iniesta are restored in midfield. Ivan Rakitic is also brought into midfield to play in a more attacking role, while Neymar is back in the side after missing out. Jordi Alba, Denis Suarez, Sergi Roberto and Andre Gomes, Arda Turan give way.
Voro makes just one change to the Valencia side from last weekend's draw with Sporting, as he adopts a more defensive approach against the formidable Barca attack. Munir leads the line as striker Simone Zaza is withdrawn to make room for holding midfielder Enzo Perez.
It took some time for the game to get going, but Eliaquim Mangala's opener for Valencia kicked things into high gear at Camp Nou. Luis Suarez produced a delicate finish to pull Barcelona level, before winning them a penalty shortly after, as Mangala went from prince to frog for the visitors, picking up his second yellow card just before Lionel Messi kicked Barca into the lead.
Luis Enrique's side looked poised to keep that lead into the break with only a couple of minutes remaining, but less than 60 seconds later it was Munir who pulled the 10-man visitors level against his parent club! Everything still to play for in what is shaping up to be a perfectly poised second half at Camp Nou.
That's all for our live coverage from Camp Nou, thanks for following along! Goodbye.
Lionel Messi's brace helped Barcelona to victory against Valencia, down to 10 men for more than half the game following Eliaquim Mangala's sending off at the end of a wild first half that saw two goals and a red card all in a three-minute span, which sent the sides level into the interval, before Barcelona responded after the break, making the most of their advantage in personnel.
